The charity provides free and confidential help to victims of crime, witnesses, their family, friends and anyone else affected crime. Over the last month our printers, pre-press studio, a designer for art galleries and colour expert from Fuji have been working tirelessly to improve our colour reproduction. We’ve spent several days running colour tests from our new processless Fuji PRO-T plates and scrutinising the results. We’re delighted that the outcome shows our colour reproduction from proofing to press is more accurate than ever.

The Five Castles Press is once again pleased to be associated with the Ipswich Press Ball.

The annual fundraiser, organised by The Evening Star, celebrated its 15th anniversary, and this year supported the Cystic Fibrosis Trust as well as new mayor of Ipswich, John Le Grys’ chosen cause.

The evening consisted of a four course meal, a charity auction with prizes including holidays, theatre trips, a diamond bracelet and an acrobatic aeroplane flight! Queen tribute band ‘Queen B’ finished off the night’s entertainment which raised almost £20,000 for chairty.

Working closely with Graham Rees Design, a local designer specialising in work for the London Art Gallery market, we have produced a book for the renowned artist Lélia Pissarro.

Along with Graham’s design, we have received high praise for the printing, including from Lélia herself, and the book features in Howard Smiths’ ‘Profiles’ Design week brochure (no. 51).
